Blackline Comics offers publishing services for creator owned titles only. To be considered for publication through Blackline Comics projects MUST meet the following criteria.

1. Your project MUST have a full creative team in place. This means there should be a writer, penciller, inker and colorist in place. Blackline can provide lettering services for a small per page fee. For more information on our lettering services please visit the lettering page located under the services portion of this site or click here. We ask that you have a team in place because we do NOT pay per page rates. We will publish and distribute your title and pay you after we receive payment from the retailers. You will then divide your payment between your team as you see fit.
   
   
2. All projects submitted must be of exceptional quality. We are adamant in making sure that the quality of all projects we publish meets a certain standard. Blackline Comics publishes via traditional print methods as well as digitally for the Iphone, Ipod, Google G1, and ebook readers. In the submission guidelines you will find all the information you need regarding the submission process and the various publication avenues available to you as well as dimensions for art created for digital publication.
3. We are not interested in any particular genre. Blackline publishes all genres as long as they follow the ethical and moral guidelines expressed in the submission guidelines. Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Horror, Crime Noir, Superhero, and Drama titles are all welcome.
4. Please make sure you properly solicit your projects to Blackline Comics. You can find our solicitation guidelines in the submission guidelines section of this site. All projects that do not follow our solicitation guidelines will not be considered for publication.
5. Blackline Comics will retain no rights to creator owned properties. All creator owned properties will remain the sole property of the creator(s).
6. Blackline Comics is a strong advocate for creator rights and will always conduct business with the creators’ best interest in mind. Because of this we will always offer the Lion's share of the profits to the creator. Blackline retains a very small portion of the profit generated by a project.
